My name is Hanna, I've been a marketing manager for 10 years, working in the third sector, the arts and now technology. I'm a generalist, which I think is increasingly rare, but I enjoy being part of the strategy as well as marketing tactics in the Phone Number List B2B space, so I tend to join organizations because they grow big enough to start separating roles like marketing released for the first time. I started my career in the third sector, creating a marketing department for a large charity in the field of education. I learned the ropes as social media was just getting started and the potential to change the association's methodology was growing. I moved overseas, honed my fundraising and bid writing skills to add to my expertise, and came back to the UK confident that I wanted to work in tech. I love the interface between geekery and creativity - both in my work in marketing and in the companies I work for.
Which technical skills do you think are most important in your role?
